St.John’s owns its own Hall built on a parcel of land close to the Ashdown Forest way back in 1927, although it is only this year – 2007 – that it has been registered at H M Land Registry !  To raise money for the upkeep of our Hall it is hired out for many and various activities when we are not using it ourselves.  The following are just a few of the events we welcome Members to take part in :-

Every MONDAY -        Fitness Group – 10am to 11am

Every TUESDAY          -        Keep Fit – Stretch and Flex – 11 am to 12 noon

First WEDNESDAY

in every month     -        Main Institute Meeting – 2.15 pm

Second WEDNESDAY

in every month     -        Book Club – 10 am – 11.30 am

and                       -        Craft Meeting – 2 pm – 4 pm

Third

WEDNESDAY    -       Coffee Morning – 10.15am on most Wednesdays interspersed with other activities announced at main meetings.

As well as the above activities Members take part in organised holidays and day trips.

We welcome guests at any of the above activities and hope that those coming to join us will enjoy our friendly atmosphere and wish to become a new Member.
