    Dear WI Federation Chairman,

I am the Jane Austen tutor at Denman College, where I have
run courses,  usually two each year, since 2004. I also provided a short weekend
session for the Derbyshire Federation in 2005. The second course at Denman this
year is 'Emma' in September, which is already fully subscribed, but next year the
novels to be studied will be 'Pride and Prejudice' early in April and 'Sense and
Sensibility' in September.

The courses planned for 2010 are 'Mansfield Park' and 'Persuasion'.

I am also on Denman's travelling tutor list and am happy to
travel anywhere for a reasonable fee plus travelling expenses, to present
illustrated talks on Jane Austen's life and times, or aspects of her novels.

Short courses of one to two days, are also available and day-long guided walks

in Bath.   I now have a website which has full details of the courses together with my
contact details and I would be pleased to hear from any WI members who are
interested. Would you please inform the individual groups in your federation?
Attached is a flyer which can be forwarded.    My website address is:
www.janeaustencourses.co.uk where you will also find many links to other

Jane Austen related sites of interest.

    Many thanks,

    Hazel Jones

Interested in Fashion? read on.....

Dear East Sussex Federation, <Caroline.Walsh@Silverriver.tv>

I'm emailing you from the TV production company Silver River with

reference to our new BBC prime-time series Fashion Trade.

The series is based on the premise where women trade in UK to swap

and shop, trading in quality clothes and accessories and in return they

get to select a new style or wardrobe without spending a penny!

Each show will feature lots of women; however we will focus more

heavily on some.  We are really keen to find women with a passion for
fashion who feel that they would like to re-invent their wardrobe, or

simply change it.

Filming dates are Thursday 7th August, Wednesday 13th and Thursday

14th August so we need to get all application forms in as soon as possible.

I have attached a poster which sums up the show with the relevant contact

details on. It would be much appreciated if you could forward this email.

If any of your members are interested they can contact me directly.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards

Caroline Walsh,  Researcher.
