GENERAL ACTIVITIES EACH MONTH
We have a lot of extra meetings, other than the regular monthly get together, which everyone is invited to join.SCRABBLE meet on the Monday following the main meeting at 2p.m.
HOME ECONOMICS meet on the following Thursday at 2.30 p.m. where we have a range of speakers.
DRAMA meet on the last Monday of the month for play and verse readings, general discussions and the occasional speaker. The year is rounded off with a Garden Party.
THE LUNCHEON CLUB finds a new venue on the last Thursday of the month offering a wide range of menus and good company.
MUSIC APPRECIATION meet on the first Wednesday of the month enjoying a range of composer’s works.
OUTINGS – we have an enjoyable day out at least once during the year.
In spite of all this, once a year we manage to find time to have a separate lunch with a speaker in the Memorial Hall. A coffee morning is held on another date for our charity of the year.
We would be so pleased if you came to see all the things we do and maybe think of joining us.
