Our WI Events

As well as our monthly meetings there are various other activities that you can choose to take part in.  They include:
Walks: several of us go on regular walks, these are not very long.  Most walks finish with a pub lunch or supper.  Times and places are announced at monthly meetings.
Scrabble: we have an annual scrabble competition for the Ringmer WI Challenge Cup.
Theatre Visits: we organise visits to Lewes Little Theatre, Lewes Operatic Society and Ringmer Dramatic Society productions, sharing transport whenever possible.
Details of these visits and others, are given at the meetings.
We provide you with information about all our events in our What’s On leaflet each month.
Our WI meets twice a year with other WIs from this area – Ripe and Chalvington, Firle and Beddingham and Chiddingly.  These meetings usually have excellent speakers.

This year Ringmer Evening WI took Green Hearts to the local primary school. The stall caused plenty of interest and the Head has asked us to return next year and work with some of the children to make hearts
