About Us
New members and visitors are always welcome. We are a village WI with 35 members. We are a friendly club ( so our visitors and new members tell us!).
What we do
In addition to our monthly meetings we have a lunch club which dines every two months in a local hotel or pub. We have regular craft and knit & natter groups. We enjoy outings and go curling in March each year to the only curling rink in the south of England. We are going to see Calendar Girls at the Congress Theatre, Eastbourne in August.
HIghlights from our current programme include talks on Quirky Sussex, Tea and the English, Volunteering in Mongolia and a talk from our Federation Archivist, Shirley Kirby ‘Every cloth tells a Story’. In August we have a summer lunch.
