About Us
We are a lively bunch of approximately 45 ladies who have great fun when we can meet. Our ages range from early 30s to 80s. We offer wine and snacks at all our meetings which we include on a complementary basis, and normally meet on the 4th Thursday of every month from 7.45pm.
What we do
We have had a packed calendar hosting events such as ‘painting without brushes’, sugar craft, Christmas crafts, a visit by Richard Griffin, former protection officer to the Queen and Prince Philip, mindfulness, dancing, a talk on recycling, a cheese tasting, an evening with a contestant in the Great British Sewing Bee and many more.
Current situation regarding Covid 19
We are hosting our monthly meetings virtually at the moment but hope to return to our Village Hall in the not too distant future. We currently host our monthly ‘Pins and Needles’ craft groups via Zoom where everyone, if they wish to, can bring along a project to share. We can help people learn to crochet, knit or embroider and it’s a fun, lively evening. We also have a monthly book club which meets via Zoom. Again, we hope to be able to host our monthly groups in person soon.
